09:45 a.m. GUIDED WALK along the new Interactive Route of Sabucedo. Starting point: the curro novo (new enclosure). Collecting mushrooms and chestnuts during the walk. 10km.

12:00 p.m. GATHERING at the MASTER’S MILL (MUÍÑO DO MESTRE).

Opening of the MARKET OF ARTISAN FOOD AND LOCAL PRODUCTS.

12:05 p.m. Lighting of the oven and start of the BREAD WORKSHOP.

12:30 p.m. 4th Children’s Contest “GETTING TO KNOW MY TOWN” with gifts for participants. Rules available on the Rapa website.

1:00 p.m. Tasting-Sampling

“A ESTRADA CIDER PURE ARTISAN FOOD.” Paired with mushrooms.

AT LUNCHTIME

1:30 p.m. Musical Aperitif by the group AIRIÑOS DE CALDELAS.

2:30 p.m. LUNCH (Reservations required)

In the tent at the carballeira (oak grove) of Campo do Medio.

4:30 p.m. Start of the FILLOAS AND CHULAS WORKSHOP and Award Ceremony for the Children’s Contest “Getting to know my town”.

4:45 p.m. Presentation of the SGRAFFITO TECHNIQUE (ESGAFRIADO). Intangible Cultural Heritage of Galicia, presented by Carmen Soriano and Ana Lema.

5:00 p.m. Presentation of the book preview:

“THE FEELING OF A TOWN: SABUCEDO AND THE RAPA DAS BESTAS” by Francisco Regueiro.

SAMAÍN (HALLOWEEN) WORKSHOPS:

5:30 p.m. Start of the pumpkin carving (calacús), face painting, etc. For children up to 90 years old.

6:00 p.m. SABUCEDO ALSO SINGS. Musical evening at the mill.

AT NIGHT

7:15 p.m. Procession of the SANTA COMPAÑA (The Holy Company).

Reading of the RESPONSES dedicated to the living dead during the preparation of the purifying QUEIMADA (flaming punch) in the curro vello (old enclosure).

Bring a white tunic or old sheet!

8:00 p.m. SAMAÍN NIGHT

Magosto (Chestnut Feast) next to the Teleclube.
